Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend, the family went to Hays to visit everyone. My grandmother, Jocelyn's great grandma, Gwen was in town visiting my parents. It was great seeing her since the last time we saw her was in January. They had a great time playing with each other. We also got to see Jocelyn's other great grandparents, Mike and Mickey; as well as her great uncle Tim. We were also able to hang out my brother Chris and his girlfriend Bridget. I was glad that we got to see all of our family. Alex and I had a chance to sneak away for a few hours and play frisbee golf. It was nice getting out there again especially since it was a beautiful weekend. We haven't played since before I became pregnant. The only down side of the weekend was that Jocelyn's allergies flared up. Every time we go to Hays, she instantly become congested with watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. She is a trooper though and still continues with her happy smile. Sunday evening, we went over to a family friend's house and spend time with their family including kids and grand kids. Jocelyn got to ride in her first outdoor swing. She really loved it. If it wasn't so close to bed time, I think she could have stayed in that for hours. Mom and Dad now know what the next toy we are going to get for Joce. Overall, it was a great weekend and a really nice way to kick off the summer.
