Girls Camp Out Weekend

This past weekend, just the girls went camping. Grandma Vicki, Aunt Malindi, Cousin Maddy and Olive, Jocelyn and I, along with some friends, went camping at Wilson Lake. It was a blast. The weather was perfect. Not too hot and just enough clouds to give a little bit of shade during the day. We stayed in my mom's camper so Jocelyn and Olive were able to get some good sleep. On Saturday, Jocelyn was able to experience her first adventure into the lake. I thought it would be too cold for her, but boy was I wrong. She loved it! She was all about the water. We had a little baby floaty that she used. She loved just floating around in the water. She even sat on the beach and let the sand rush between her toes. Oh, and Jocelyn and Olive had matching swimming suits. We didn't even know it until we got ready to dress the kiddos. After about 30 minutes, she was ready for a nap. We had a little baby tent that we sat up on the beach. It was a perfect little cave for Jocey to take a quick little cat nap. The rest of the weekend she was just as sweet and easy going. She played and laughed. She even went to bed on time and took naps. But I could tell that she was ready to go home on Sunday. Once we got home that night, we took bathes and she was definitely ready for bed. It was a good warm up the big lake camp out we have in August.
